About HedgeStreet
HedgeStreet® is an Internet-based, government regulated exchange where traders can hedge and speculate on prices in forex and commodity markets. HedgeStreet significantly expands the investment, risk-hedging and profit-making opportunities available to traders.

Is It Regulated?
HedgeStreet is authorized to act as both a designated contract market (DCM) and derivatives clearing organization (DCO) by the federal government. It is subject to regulatory oversight by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

How it Works
HedgeStreet's market lists a range of financial contracts, which members (with accounts similar to those at a brokerage) can use for speculating or hedging on price movements in forex and commodities markets. HedgeStreet currently offers Binary Option Contracts (fixed payout contracts that pay either $0 or $100 if a specific outcome occurs).

Getting Started
After an application is approved, a HedgeStreet account can be opened with a minimum deposit of $100. Each account provides a transactions ledger; a listing of all trades, positions and orders and an account management page with fund transfer capabilities.

Contract Categories
HedgeStreet offers financial contracts in the following markets:

  • Currencies - EUR/USD, USD/YEN, GBP/USD, CHF/USD, USD/CAD
  • Commodities - Gold, Silver, Crude Oil

Management Team
Members of HedgeStreet's management team include:

  • Yossi Beinart, President and CEO
  • Peter C. Lee, Chief Operating Officer
  • Timothy McDermott, General Counsel
