HedgeStreet to list binary options for USD/CAD currency pair

CHICAGO, IL - HedgeStreet Inc., the nation's first government-regulated, online futures trading market for binary and futures contracts, today announced that it has expanded its currency offering, allowing members the opportunity to trade binary options on the USD/CAD currency pair beginning August 11, 2008

Like other HedgeStreet products, USD/CAD will be offered in weekly, daily and intraday increments.

As an intraday up/down contract, USD/CAD will be listed at three different times during each trading day. The intraday binary contract will have a trading duration of two hours and will settle soon after expiration. Once settlement is complete, settled funds will be available for trading again on the same day.

The three intraday trading periods USD/CAD will be offered are 8-10 a.m., 10 a.m.-noon and noon-2 p.m. (ET). Daily USD/CAD contracts will expire daily at 3pm (ET) while the weekly offering will expire at 3pm (ET) each Friday (excluding holidays).
