About Electronic Checks
- An online check service facilitates the transfer of funds into your HedgeStreet account.
- A paper check based on the information you provide is issued, drawn on your checking account at a U.S. financial institution, and is deposited into your HedgeStreet account
- New members can begin trading immediately with up to $250 of their electronic check deposits; the remainder of the deposit amount over $250 will become available for trading after 3-5 business days.
- Members in good standing will be credited with up to $1000 of their electronic deposit right away; the remainder of their deposit amounts over $1000 will become available for trading after 3-5 business days. A member in good standing must have maintained adequate funding in his or her HedgeStreet account for two weeks after opening.
- A minimum deposit of $100 is required to open an account at HedgeStreet.
- There is no minimum amount for subsequent deposits from the same bank account after the account has been set up.
- The maximum amount of an electronic check deposit is $10,000.
- An email confirmation will be sent when your Electronic Check deposit is received and when funds are available to trade.
Please note that, in order to protect against fraud, you may not make any withdrawals from your HedgeStreet account for 30 days after you initially provide or change your bank account information.
